Community
Volunteer-run. Community-funded.
All Proceeds Support the Community
Knowledge Hub is not a commercial conference. Ticket revenue, after covering venue and refreshments, goes to Ukrainian Canadian Social Services Toronto, the organization that leads community work for Ukrainian-Canadians in Toronto.
Where the Funds Go
Surplus from each event is directed to front-line programs run by UCSS: newcomer settlement support, seniors' services, youth and family programming, and community-building activities that otherwise rely on grant cycles and volunteer fundraising.
- Settlement & newcomer support for families arriving from Ukraine.
- Seniors' programs — social, recreational, and wellness activities.
- Youth & family programming that keeps community traditions alive.
- Direct aid during emergencies and periods of acute need.
Volunteer-Led
Knowledge Hub is built by volunteers from UCPBA, UCSS Toronto, and UCBA. No paid staff, no commercial margin. That is what keeps tickets low and the surplus flowing back to UCSS.
